We made every attempt to pack in all our favorites from the Park's fledgling years, from the Moonliner Rocket to the Hall of Chemistry, Fort Wilderness to the Silver Banjo. Jungle Cruise, Indian Village, Conestoga Wagons, Skyway Chalet, Astrojets, Casey Jr, and those cool tripod-lamp thingys from 1955 Tomorrowland. All on a hand-woven silk backing under UV-protective plexiglass. You can view it on display at Disneyland starting July 17th...and maybe you'll own it!

Disneyland Paper-Sculpture-O-Rama
This morning we put the finishing touches on the most "intense" paper sculpture I've done to date. Five feet long and 2 feet high, hand-cut, curled, folded, and embossed papers - and a handful of wooden dowels and such - assembled into a mini-mural of early Disneyland treats.

That thing is GREAT. Nice work, you two. I especially like the little Tinkerbell.
This piece is just stunning. I hope I get a chance to see it at the park before someone takes this home!
Holy cow you guys! Amazing!
No surprise here what a cool sculpture you created! Wow!
Wow, great to see it in its final form! Love it!!
WOW! That's amazing. Love Mr. Toad
Fantastic piece....love the imagery and the flow of the design.
Paper sculptures remind me of craft books that my mom had in the 1960's. I still remember that's how I learned about the concept of scoring paper for crisp accurate folds.
Of course none of the examples in those books were as spectacular as yours!
Oh this is so beautiful! I really really love it!
Yow! This is fabulous (of course)! I hope you have LOTS of reference photos....
Simply stunning!
That's fantastic - so much detail! It would look great hung up next to my Kidney-Daily Tiki Room Fountain from a few years ago. ;)
How long does it take to do something like this?
Kevin, that's amazing. You and Jody continue to produce great work that causes my friends and I to spend plenty of our disposable income on. One tiny thing and I hate to nitpick (and hopefully there's time to fix it!) the apostrophe before the 55 should be the other way around!
Jeeze!
You guys laid this out nearly like a map! You're clever!
Kevin, this is simply stunning. I'm speachless, what a wonderfull piece, and so inspiring! Hat's off to you.
Best
Nate
