Art director, illustrator, writer, show designer, sculptor, puppeteer, and maker of things. Inconveniently enamored with outdated technology, and pretty much every kind of cultural aspect of the American early 1960s. Will pay big bucks to the guy who produces a plausible time machine.
Kevin, good luck with your new venture. Know where a down and out lawyer can score a gig pursuing an art career?? Seriously, I enjoy your work!
Jungle is 101
Kevin I recently found your blog and very much admire your work.I saw a painting of yours of a small boy dressed as a train engineer and thought it was a piece from the Disney studios in the 1950s.Just wonderful! The new business card also looks great.Much luck on your new venture and Im curious ,do you still work on paper?
Awesome card! If the point of a business card is to make a memorable impression, this works like magic!
Very nice, but isn't it a lot of work to apply a paper sculpture to each business card (not to mention the fact that you can't put it in your wallet)? ;-)
This looks great, Kevin! One incredible work of art promising more to come. And it perfectly captures the innocent, whimsical and cute (but not cutesy) style of Disney art and other mid-century designs. Not "retro" but truly classic and evergreen. And best of all it captures the fun, friendliness and flair of not one but TWO "awesome guys"!
