Fiberglass and Feathers

A new project has landed on our worktable and the feathers are flying.  It's a one-of-a-kind figure we're making for the D23 Expo auction in August.

Any guesses who this is going to turn out to be??

  5. Well let's see, I have your Tiki Room Barker Bird from the 50th. I think I will throw a vote for the Pirate Parrot. Where do I put my name on the list to buy!

  6. Hmmm.... based on the color scheme and the oval shape on his chest, I'm thinking he looks a lot like old Peglegged Pete from the entrance to Walt Disney World's Pirates of the Caribbean

  8. To be honest, Kevin, I think this sculpture of José Carioca is a bit off-model. Maybe he'll look better when you put the hat and bowtie on him and stick a big cigar in his beak. What's the matter - haven't you been to Baia? :)

  13. That's so cool! Can you make a tutorial post? I would love to do this with my little sister and her friends on her bday but have no idea what materials and colors are needed!
