It's incredible to think this animatronic spectacle in Tomorrowland closed 20 years ago. I was such a fan, I videotaped the show five times on its final day, each time from a different vantage point.
The fanciful character design was pure genius (nod to Marc Davis up in Heaven) and inspired me as a child more than anything else in the park.
Well, I am almost positive that I've seen this familiar face in the showboat finale of Splash Mountain!

While America Sings is sadly and sorely missed (especially with it's "replacement" Innoventions: which is worse than the building being vacant for upteen years---at lease a goodly amount of these figures live on in Splash Mountain. And yes I too pine for Kevin and Jody to be pumping out unique and incredible Disneyland collectibles again!
