Bottle Cat

Puss n' booze? I've always loved fancy liquor bottles, like glass jewels, and especially those square-sided crystal bottles with the name of the spirit on a little chain pendant around its neck. That said, I have nothing against a heavy clay jug of "Papa's Recipe" either!

This is a new piece commissioned by my friends Johnnie and Robin. Robin is a cat fancier and collects artistic felines. (Happy New Year, you guys!)

Super fun, these remind me of the vintage craft magazines that my mom had, with lots of photos of colored glass bottles in all shapes and sizes. I can picture them now...!

Amazing work as always. I'm curious about the specifics of how you light and photograph these. Can you give us details?

Hey Kevin,

I love EVERYTHING you make! You have such a fabulous sense of design and color that spills over into all your artistic endeavors. You are an inspiration. I love your paper art and I'm so glad to see it's gaining in popularity. Did you see the Cartoon Brew article from Jan 7th? Here is the link http://www.cartoonbrew.com/page/2

Hey Kevin,
Do you have any idea if your set of two Disneyland kids (prints) are still on sale at Disneyland? I'll be there on my birthday (natch).
Thanks, your fan,
Emily
