Kevin, I just stumbled across your awesome work! It's like tripping over a treasure chest of lush, rich design and plain old fun. Add me to the throng of fans you must have. Mike
I love that is says "school songs and yells" I'm not sure what a school yell is but I bet its fun.
I also like that Disney used to have all these little promotions and events throughout the year instead of the blanket yearly, or more, campaigns they have now.
Wow--"school songs and yells" reminds me of that great Buena Vista LP, "Annette On Campus!" most of those yells seemed to be football-oriented ("Rickety-rack, Rickety-rack--Come on Team, Push 'em back!") but some were a bit more specific ("Differential X! Differential Y! ______ Tech, Do or Die!"). The songs are great too of course, thanks to Annette Funicello and The Wellingtons! Colliegiate fight songs must have been in vogue for a while, since Disney even reissued the "On Campus" LP on the Disneyland "kiddie" label as "State and College Songs" (with guest cheerleader, Annette).
One other Disney college fight song note: the very first song by legendary tunesmiths Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman to be heard by movie theatre audiences was the "Medfield Fight Song" which is under the titles of "The Absent-Minded Professor" (1961). The Sherman Brothers had by that time been writing for Disney television and recording projects for a while, and were already working on feature films; the peppy Medfield song was the first one to reach the big screen public in a year which would later see the phenomenal success of their "Let's Get Together" for "The Parent Trap."
Long-time Disney designer, now a self-employed art director, illustrator, writer, sculptor, and maker of things. Inconveniently enamored with outdated technology, and pretty much every kind of cultural aspect of the American early 1960s. Will pay big bucks to the guy who produces a plausible time machine. I also blog at Dinosaurs & Robots www.dinosaursandrobots.com

Love the silhouetted stuff at the bottom, and that great cartoony dancing couple. The whole thing seems so "Gidget" (minus the beach, I mean)!
